1) What is Cub Scouts?
Cub Scouts is a program for boys which teaches life skills such as team work, physical fitness, community spirit and self esteem.

2) How is Cub Scouts organized?
Your son will be assigned to a den. A den is a small group (5-10)of boys of the same age group who work together towards the requirements of their rank at den meetings. The dens are part of a Pack. A Pack is make up of multiple dens of different age groups (1st-5th grades). The Pack meetings are where the boys receive recognition for there achievements and get information on the upcoming events the Pack has planned.

3) When do you meet?
Each den has it’s own schedule. The Pack meetings are scheduled for every third Friday at 7pm. Please see the Meeting Schedule link for updated den and Pack meeting info for Pack 46.

5) How much is it to join?
For the 2010-2011 Scout year, the registration fee is $40 plus the uniform (usually runs about $33 for the shirt and patches needed).

7) What do you do in Cub Scouts?
Each den has meetings several times a month. At these meetings, the den leader directs the boys in activities that are specified in their Cub Scout books. These activities fulfill requirements towards their rank badge. The activities promote physical fitness , team building, community service, thinking skills and national pride along with many other life skills.
